Preparation: Aside from gathering as much Evidence as you can (there are 4 boxes to collect total) you should have your item slots filled with Potions and Ethers if you need them.
Defense: Each card soldier has its individual HP, but defeating them only knocks them unconscious for a brief time before they revive. The tower is the main target and can be destroyed. The Queen of Hearts also can be attacked, to momentarily stun the Heart Cards. Fire and Blizzard magic is
Strategy: Since the crank tower should be your main target of attack, concentrate on that with a lock onto it. Each crank, when destroyed, drops MP and HP balls. Once you have the gears destroyed, keep whacking at the tower. It will drop munny and HP. Always be moving around when you are in this battle. If you have Donald/Goofy/both with you, then also send them into the fray to distract the card soldiers. Keep your target lock on the tower as much as possible, so you aren't wandering off. If you are having a hard time with the battle, try to knock out the Queen to stun the red cards. Make sure to run off and use healing items if you need to. All in all, try to get this battle overwith as quickly as possible.
Trickmaster
Preparation: If you have Blizzard, place the spell in your customizable shortcuts. You'll need it. Other than that, equip Fire defensive equipment if you have them (Fira Rings and whatnot) and stock your items. For abilities, have Dodge Roll on and whatever else you might need to fight aerial enemies - Air Combo Plus, Aerial Sweep, etc.
Defense: The Trickmaster's body is suspended high in the air by its long legs. Aside from that, it has a fairly long reach with its equally long arms and juggling sticks. The Trickmaster can knock down the main table and chairs which you need to attack it, as well as light its juggling sticks on fire next to the stove. The Trickmaster's juggling sticks may be lit up by a Fire spell from you or Donald, or if it goes near the stove.
Strategy: Because the Trickmaster is so tall, you must jump on something that can allow you to jump and attack. Use the table in the middle of the room and the chair to get to the proper level. Every so often if you get a particularly strong attack in, this will knock the Trickmaster down and stun it for a little while. This is another good opportunity to attack. It will drop HP/MP balls when it is attacked when stunned. If the chair and table are knocked flat by the Trickmaster, you must use another method, such as the red easychairs on the side of the room, or the corner table with the book. The table and chair will come back eventually. Donald might accidentally light the Trickmaster's juggling sticks. You can put out the fires with Blizzard, but it takes a couple of spells to do so. Be careful of the Trickmaster's long range fireball attack that shoots out when the sticks are on fire. Overall, another fight that shouldn't be too tough if you use dodging techniques correctly and are patient.
