BOSSES - Traverse Town, Part 2

Guard Armor

HP EXP
700 110

Preparation: The fight against the Guard Armor isn't what you should be worrying about, but rather the fight after it. Stock items (Ethers), and make sure you have Cure in your shortcuts. Dodge Roll, Air Combo Plus, and whatever abilities you might want to help you out will come into play.

Defense: The Guard Armor is no different from before the first time you met it.

Strategy: As said before, it's not this fight you should worry about, but the one after it. Just whack away at the torso of the Guard Armor until your battle stops. Then, the real battle begins. Try not to get injured too much during this first fight, but by now you should have the Cure spell.

Opposite Armor

HP EXP
900 390

Preparation: Like the Clayton & Stealth Sneak fight, you don't get a chance to pause and restock your items before going into this battle. Hopefully, you saved. You should have Dodge Roll, Scan, and combo/critical plusses equipped as well.

Defense: Opposite Armor is similar to Guard Armor, but this time a lot stronger and harder hitting. A few hits can cause a lot of damage, especially in Expert Mode. Instead of stomping about, this boss floats on its hands.

Strategy: The same rules apply to fighting the Opposite Armor as with Guard Armor - lock onto the center torso most of the time and whack. However, this boss has harder attacks, so you should be ready to Dodge Roll out of the way. As usual, you must destroy all four limbs before the torso can be cut down. Once you've whittled away until you get to the center of the Heartless pop, be careful of the energy cannon. It will certainly be difficult to hit as its flying around, but use the landscape to your advantage. Second District has alleys and corners to dodge behind, but don't get trapped.
