Preparation: During Hades Cup, Cloud and Leon will appear together in Seed 20. The preparation? Just to remember how to fight them from previous battles. You ought to have your items, shortcuts and abilities all set up before you enter Hades Cup.
Defense: Cloud and Leon each have their own defenses, and they don't particularly work together, but they will attack Sora simultaneously if they surround him.
Strategy: Rahal's put up a strategy to fight Cloud and Leon in the Coliseum Tournaments section. The gist of it is, though, to have Donald and Goofy distract Leon while you concentrate on taking out Cloud first. Once Cloud is out of the way, then Leon should be easy to take down.
Hades
* - Becomes 100 after beating Hades once
Preparation: Since you meet Hades during the Hades Cup, you'll have to prepare for him before you begin the trials. By now, you should know that Aerora, Cura, Dodge Roll, etc. and a stocked inventory of Ethers or Elixirs should get you where you need to be.
Defense: Hades is invulnerable to Fire and Thunder magic, though Blizzard works well. The God of the Underworld has a trick up his sleeve, which is his twin flamethrower attack where he moves to the center of the arena and spins with giant flames spewing from both his arms. At this time, he's invincible to attack. All other times, he can be hit.
Strategy: The Keyblade is the easiest weapon to use against Hades (as with all enemies pretty much). Though it's fine to just go up and whack him, he has a pretty hard-hitting attacks when you get close. When he turns red is when he's angry, and then his attacks switch to large plumes of flames and longer range fireballs. Obviously, you want to try and attack from a side that isn't going to get you burnt to a crisp from. When you are on time trial, don't worry about getting hurt from Hades' normal attacks so much. However you will have to wait and avoid the hits when he goes into his spinning flames attack.
Rock Titan
Preparation: By the end of 49 fights, you should be quite prepared to fight the Rock Titan. Don't worry about your item slots now. He's nothing to worry about.
Defense: Aside from begin massive, there're only two places that you can hit on the Rock Titan - his feet, and his heads. Other than that, the Rock Titan deals massive damage if you get hit, but you likely won't be hit very often because he's very slow.
Strategy: Since there's no way you can climb up to the Rock Titan's head, strike at his feet first. That will cause him to fall down (which you should jump upon impact because of the shockwave). The second part then is to jump up to the top and hit the heads. Be careful when you're hitting the heads that you don't get smacked off. Otherwise, this boss is completely a bashing job. When on time trial, the challenge would lie in bashing away 2100 HP in less than a minute.
