Preparation: Since Leon & Yuffie are at the top of the list in Pegasus Cup, they are the final seed for you to battle. Throughout Pegasus Cup, you should be conserving your MP and HP for this fight. It would help if you had the Guard ability equipped as well.

Defense: Leon and Yuffie work pretty well as a team. Yuffie has long range shuriken attacks and is constantly flipping and jumping away, while Leon goes in for the attack or shoots his own gunblade fireballs at you.

Strategy: To beat Leon and Yuffie, first send your minions after Leon. That means, target lock Leon and press Triangle twice to send Goofy and Donald after him. Then, switch your attentions to Yuffie, who will be a pain in the ass if you don't beat her first. When she throws her shuriken at you, use Guard to deflect them back. If you're lucky, they'll hit her and stun her for a moment long enough for you to catch up and beat the crap out of her Great Ninja-ness. She'll try to get away from you and throw shurikens again. Also, she is the healer of the pair so you need to beat her or else she'll keep healing Leon. When she gets down to low level HP, she'll power up and send a humongous shuriken star flying around the arena. You can dodge this with Dodge Roll, but be wary because it comes back around boomerang like. All in all, get rid of Yuffie as quickly as possible, and then concentrate on Leon. Leon is the same as before. Once Leon is getting low on HP, he'll power up his gunblade and it will become a really long glowing blade (reminiscent of Sanosuke's zanbatou in the Japanese comic/anime, Rurouni Kenshin.) This blade has extremely long reach but is easily avoided, especially the way Leon swings it around. Overall, the battle is most difficult when Yuffie is there. Once you get rid of her, then beating Leon is a matter of dodging and time. If you're on time battle, you'll want at least a minute and a half to beat them with a bit of time to spare.

HERCULES CUP

Hercules

Preparation: You fight Hercules alone, so you'll need to use your tricks. Have Dodge Roll in your abilities, and Aero and Cure to help match up.

Defense: Hercules is invincible when he's glowing gold. Aside from that, magic doesn't work against him either.

Strategy: Fighting Hercules is a matter of patience and patterns. To nullify his godliness (and vanity), lift up a barrel that appears, target lock onto him and throw. This will take off the glow, but it may or may not end up stunning him. Either way, immediately after you throw and the barrel hits, charge in and start whacking at Hercules. Depending on what his attack is, you may need to run or roll out of the way. If he starts to glow again, then it's back to the barrels. If the barrels are destroyed, more will appear. Overall, this shouldn't be much of a worry, but you will have to work fast to have enough time in Time Trial to defeat him.
