BOSSES - End of the World

Chernabog

HP EXP
1500 15,000

Preparation: The prep work for Chernabog is the usual. The only difference is you will have the ability to fly like in Neverland, so be prepared for that sort of environment.

Defense: Chernabog's defense is simply that he has some damaging attacks, a blast of air that will knock you back, and he is nearly immune to most magic. Also, the back of his head is invincible to attack.

Strategy: To beat Chernabog, you have to attack his face. However, you want to avoid his flamethrower breath. Rise up or sink down, much like avoiding the Shark from Atlantica's bite, to avoid it until it passes, and then resume attack. Once you reduce Chernabog's HP bar to green, make sure that you cast Aeroga when the blue homing energy balls are summoned after you. Aeroga will cancel out the attack, making life a lot easier for you. Aside from that, by now your levels should be high enough to take the attacks with decent defense.

Ansem 1

HP EXP
1500 10,000

Preparation: Well, considering this is the beginning of the final battles, you should be able to use your magic and abilities to beat Ansem easily. However, just in case, keep your Aeroga shield on, Curaga yourself every so often, and then Dodge Roll your way to safety. And of course, MP Rage, MP Haste, Strike Raid, Ragnarok, whatever goodies you need to recover and kick ass.

Defense: Ansem has a Guardian that attaches to his back, which he will use every so often to block physical attacks. Speaking of which, that same Guardian will sometimes attach to Sora, and the Attack button will turn into 'Freeze'. Don't try to attack at this time, and instead use magic to attack or cure. The Guardian will go back to Ansem eventually. Ansem is invulnerable to Stop magic.

Strategy: The final battles aren't hard at all, but getting Frozen by Ansem's Guardian would be a bad thing for you. However, if you can't use your normal attacks when you have the Guardian attached to you, you still can use Strike Raid, Ars Arcanum, Ragnarok and other magic or abilities. In comparison, this first fight with Ansem should be pretty short.

Ansem 2

HP EXP
1200 20,000

Preparation: Since Donald and Goofy are not available to you during this fight, this battle with Ansem will depend on you alone. The same abilities, spells and items should go with you.

Defense: Ansem's quicker and definitely more serious when you fight him the second time. He has different attacks that do damage as well.

Strategy: There are some difficult attacks that can be avoided with Dodge Roll. Otherwise, the fight with Ansem is the same as before, just a bit faster and with different attack patterns because of the added attacks.

World of Chaos

Enemy Type HP EXP
Ansem 1500 20,000
Artillery (Large) 240 240
Artillery (Small) 120 90
Room Core 30 0
Face 1200 3000
Main Core 300 0

Preparation: Once you've begun the fight with the huge ship, there aren't any save points. Though you won't be able to restock your items, the artillery around the ship sometimes drops Mega-Potions.

Defense: The ship in various stages has its defenses of lasers that seek you out and Artillery firing off little homing missiles. Ansem has his halberd and can summon Bit Snipers to help strike you. Then, there's the Heartless within the Room Cores, which attack while you can't see them. Finally the Face and the Main Core are both protected by artillery. The Face itself can summon a Thunder-like spell in front of it to protect it, the way Ursula and Chernabog can do.

Strategy: All in all, the walkthrough outlines how to fight this battleship in its various stages. However, most of this final fight is whacking away at things. Whatever you do, don't forget to Cure yourself and cast Aero every so often when it dissipates.
