Preparation: The Darkside usually requires no preparation. When you first fight the Darkside you don't have anything anyway, except maybe equipped accessories.

Defense: The Darkside has only three vulnerable spots - its two hands and its head.

Strategy: The strategy for the Darkside is little more than hack and slash. It's recommend you use lock-on targeting to pick a body part such as the hand, or if you're up for a challenge, the head. If you go for the head, you have to wait until the Darkside slams its hand into the ground, and then run up along its arm to smack its head. Continue until beaten to a fine dark energy pulp.
