Preparation: Sabor is quick, but you should be quicker with Dodge Roll. The first time you meet him, you won't have a chance to stock any items. However, if you lose to Sabor the first time, you don't die. You just get knocked out and Tarzan saves you. If you do beat Sabor the first time, you can continue to go back to Camp various times and he will reappear over and over until the final battle.
Defense: Sabor's claws do some pretty hefty damage in the initial meetings, but after you gain a few levels for beating Power Wilds and whatnot, he shouldn't be too much of a problem. Sabor's defense is his speed and agility, where he can jump large distances and attack quickly. In the Bamboo Thicket (final fight), Sabor can disappear into the plants and reappear elsewhere to ambush you.
Strategy: The main thing is to be quick to dodge Sabor's attacks. He's a fast cat, so be wary of the claws. Also, his charge and jump attacks can be damaging. Your minions can be a useful distraction. Or, you can be on the move same as Sabor is. Make sure you attack from Sabor's side rather than the front. Just like Cerberus's bite, Sabor's attacks are strictly in front of him. However, Sabor is a lot quicker, and while you're attacking he may turn and scratch you. Sabor, however, should be considered a mini-boss. He can be beaten rather easily once you have the attack patterns down.
Black Fruit Tree
Preparation: At this point of Deep Jungle, you're looking for Jane and Terk. Fighting hordes of Heartless to get to the Climbing Trees might be a challenge, but make sure before you enter from the Vines 2 area, that you have healing items. Not that you'll really need them.
Defense: You don't get EXP when fighting off this 'boss.' The black fruit tree is much like the Crank Tower in Wonderland, being helpless to defend itself. Instead, an endless supply of Powerwilds appear to attack you.
Strategy: Of all the little black fruits in the area, simply run around until you see the mother of all rotten pears. Lock on and whack away, using Donald and Goofy/Tarzan to help keep the Powerwilds off of you. When you bash the fruit to a pulp, Jane and Terk will be freed from their viney prison.

Preparation: You enter this battle after you've beaten Sabor for the final time. Equip White Fang and whatever other defensive stat boosting equipment you have, and then stock your items with healing items. You'll need them.
Defense: Clayton's shotgun range is rather far, and the worst is that you can't see the bullets. They just hit. The Powerwilds aren't hard to defeat. They're normal enemies there to be lackeys. Clayton might jump away and heal himself, so you need to take of him fast.
Strategy: Get close enough to hit Clayton on the head many many times. Don't worry about the Powerwilds, as this boss battle is in actuality a precursor to a much harder battle. Just lock onto Clayton and follow him around, using Dodge Roll to get you closer, faster. You'll probably not take off more than half his HP bar before the battle turns.
Clayton & the Stealth Sneak

Preparation: You have no chance to pause to recuperate and restock after you start the fight with Clayton. You best have had your items stocked and ready, and not used many by the time you get here. Good luck, and be ready to jump, rattle and roll.
Defense: The Sneak has the initial invisibility factor, which you can knock out of it if you bash it enough. Clayton rides the Heartless monster at first, but eventually in battle you can knock him off or he will dismount. The Sneak is quick, large, deals heavy damage with its attacks. Clayton is less of a worry at first, but your main target is still him.
Strategy: The Brady Games guide says to take out the Stealth Sneak first, but we're all for getting this battle over with quickly. The catch is that you only need to defeat Clayton to end the battle. However, that Stealth Sneak is quick and does lots of damage, especially with its eye beams that follow you around. So, if you want, you can kill the Sneak first before dealing with Clayton. The trouble is that you might end up running out of Potions. So, concentrate on knocking Clayton off, and using your minions to distract the Sneak (though the Sneak's attack focus is Sora.) Thunder is the best spell to use against the Sneak if you're a magic person, and if Clayton is riding atop the beast, Thunder will hit them both. A useful technique is to use air combos rather than staying on the ground. So, jump and attack the Sneak rather than standing on the ground and leaving yourself vulnerable to attacks from the Sneak's tail whip or scratch attacks. Of course, Rahal and I have different attack methods for this boss, so you can find the right combination of magic/physical attack methods for yourself, and use it to defeat Clayton and his pet giant chameleon.
